Orscheln Farm & Home in Independence, KS is as good as any farm supply store I've been to, and believe me I've been to them all across the country. I've lived in 8 different states, and I've always had some sort of small farm.
Now I live in Kansas and am just getting under way with a small truck farm. I will specialize in organic tomatoes, honey and free range eggs.
Good customer service
I've already used Orcheln's in Independence for a 1500 gallon water tank, a deep well submersible pump, and numerous smaller purchases. I've always found their prices very competitive, and their sales people very helpful. Don't take my word for it, try them out for yourself!
Awesome farm and home supplies
Great store. Bought a roto-tiller. Had issue after issue with it(not the stores fault but manufacturer) and they fixed issue after issue with no complaint. Great customer service here.
